Except where otherwise specified, we, Travel & Trade Worldwide Ltd, t/a Check-in-London.com act only as an agent in respect of all bookings we take and/or make on your behalf. We accept no liability in relation to any contract you enter into or for any accommodation or other services you purchase (“accommodation”) or for the acts or omissions of any supplier/principal or other person(s) or party(ies) connected with any arrangements.  For all arrangements, your contract will be with the supplier of the arrangements in question (the “supplier/principal”).When making your booking we will arrange for you to enter into a contract with the applicable Supplier/Principal of the accommodation. Your booking with us is subject to these Agency Terms and Conditions and the specific booking conditions of the relevant supplier/principal(s) you contract with and you are advised to read both carefully prior to booking. The supplier/principal’s booking conditions may limit and/or exclude their liability to you.  Copies of applicable conditions are available from us on request.


You may decide to make one or more bookings with us at the same time. The price charged in total for more than one booking will always equal the prices charged separately for each individual booking. All services are available to be purchased separately at the same price as they are when more than one booking is made. This means that any multiple bookings do not constitute a package as defined in the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992.


By making a booking with us, you agree that you:

  1. have read these Agency Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them;
  2. consent to our use of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy; and
  3. are over 18 years of age and where placing an order for services with age restrictions you declare that you and all members of your party are of the appropriate age to purchase those services;
  4. accept financial responsibility for payment of the booking on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking.

Failure to Comply



All rates stated on our website are per apartment and not per person. All apartment rates are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate and service. Some properties are exempt of VAT or a reduced VAT rate may be applicable such as 4% vat after 28 nights. All apartment providers require that there is at least one person aged 18 or over is staying at the apartments for each booking. 

When you make a booking through Check-in-london.com, the rates that you see on the website at the time you make the booking are the rates that we apply and confirm to you unless stated as being a 'guide' rate whereby we will confirm the price with the apartments and yourself before making the booking (unless otherwise requested). If there are any unforeseen changes or problems with your booking, we will automatically contact you first for your approval/instructions, before arranging an alternative booking for you.

In the event that the accommodation of your choice is fully booked or sold out at the time of submitting your booking request and credit card details, Check-in-london.com will endeavour to offer you alternative accommodation of similar price, quality and location. We will not, of course, proceed with an alternative booking without seeking your prior approval. 


In order to make a booking, you must submit an online booking request to us and make all applicable payments. Shortly after you submit the secure online booking request form you will be notified by email or telephone and you will receive an email booking confirmation with the details of your booking and reference number. By submitting the secure online booking request you confirm that you have read and agreed to the individual accommodation terms & conditions and the cancellation policy of the accommodation you are booking. The email confirmation we send will include full booking details: your booking reference and the accommodation's cancellation policy, address and telephone number, so you will have all the information you need. Your booking is confirmed and a contract between you and the supplier/principal will exist when we send you this email confirmation on their behalf.

Your email confirmation will usually be with you the same day if you booked between 9:00 and 16:00 GMT, Monday to Friday. If you have booked outside of these times, your email confirmation will arrive the following morning, or on the following Monday if you booked during the weekend or after 16:00 GMT on Friday. We will always try to get the confirmation to you as soon as possible.

If for any reason you are unable to access the email address you gave us in the booking request form, please email us using an alternative email address as soon as possible, stating your details, at info@check-in-london.com.

Please check your email confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to us immediately. As we act only as booking agent, we have no responsibility for any errors in any documentation except where an error is made by us.




Check-in-london.com does not charge customers any fees for using our service and credit card details are used only by the supplier/principal, in the process of booking the accommodation at your instruction.

Each supplier/principal has its own terms and conditions relating to how you pay for your booking. You can see these details if you click "Rental Policy" on the Booking Summary Page. Please note that your bank may charge you for an international transfer of money when the payment is taken. If full payment is not received as required by the supplier/principal, the supplier/principal may cancel your booking and charge the cancellation fees set out in their booking conditions.

Corporate Accounts
Payment for the accommodation will be made using the client's debit or credit card as authorised by the client. Surcharges may apply. Where the client wishes for payment to be made using bank transfer (international or otherwise), the client will be liable for payment of all bank charges and any difference in price due to exchange rates. All payments must be made in £GBP sterling.


We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time.  We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. Special note: changes and errors sometimes occur.  You must check the price of your chosen accommodation at the time of booking.



You are strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance for all members of your party. Some supplier/principals require that you do so. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is adequate and appropriate for your particular needs. Please read your policy details on receipt and take them with you on holiday.


Special requests

If you have any special requests (for example dietary requirements or room location), please let us know at the time of booking. We will pass on all such requests to the supplier/principal, but we can't guarantee that they will be met and we will have no liability to you if they are not.


Amendments & Cancellations

Each individual supplier/principal has its own cancellation and amendment policy, which you can read on that individual accommodation’s page on our website.

To cancel or amend a booking, please contact us as soon as possible by telephone or email, quoting your booking reference number (also contained within our email). We will then make the cancellation on your behalf with the supplier/principal. Please ensure that you have received written confirmation of any changes to your booking prior to travel. Whilst we will try to assist, we cannot guarantee that such requests will be met.


Amendments and cancellations can only be accepted in accordance with the booking conditions of the supplier/principal of the accommodation who may charge the cancellation or amendment charges shown in their booking condition, which may be as much as100% of the cost of the accommodation and will normally increase closer to the date of departure.

If you need to cancel a booking urgently, and it is outside our office hours, then we advise you to inform the supplier/principal directly using the contact details you will find on the confirmation email. If you cancel or amend a booking outside our office hours, the cancellation policy will be applied from the time we or the supplier/principal has received your cancellation request (during office hours) and not the time the cancellation request was sent.

If you fail to arrive at the accommodation on your intended date of arrival without prior cancellation within the specified period, the supplier/principal is entitled to charge your credit card. The amount of this cancellation charge depends upon the terms and conditions of the particular supplier/principal. You can find this information on every individual accommodation booking web page on our website under the heading 'Policies'.

Should a supplier/principal have to alter or cancel a booking, provided that we are informed of it, we will do our utmost to inform you where is reasonably possible; at times it may not always be possible to contact you before your departure. In the event of the supplier/principal cancelling your booking, we have no liability to you with regards to making a refund or offering any compensation. The supplier/principal will be responsible for finding appropriate alternative accommodation of a similar standard and shall cover all additional costs incurred as a result of finding and transporting to such accommodation.


Our responsibility for your booking

Your contract is with the supplier/principal and its booking conditions apply. As agent, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of the accommodation. Our responsibilities are limited to making the booking in accordance with your instructions. We accept no responsibility for any information about the accommodation that we pass on to you in good faith. However, in the event that we are found liable to you on any basis whatsoever, our maximum liability to you is limited to twice the cost of the commission we earn on your booking (or the appropriate proportion of this if not everyone on the booking is affected). We do not exclude or limit any liability for death or personal injury that arises as a result of our negligence or that of any of our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.


Visa, passport and health requirements

Unless you tell us otherwise, we are entitled to assume that all members of your party are British citizens who hold or will hold full British passports or visas valid for the entire duration of the accommodation you choose to purchase.  Information on visa, passport and health requirements, where given and applicable, is so given on this basis. Requirements may change and you are therefore strongly recommended to check the up to date position with the supplier/principal, Passport Office, appropriate embassy or consulate or your doctor as applicable in good time before departure.



Because the contract for your accommodation is between you and the supplier/principal, any queries or concerns about your accommodation should be addressed to them. If you have a problem with your accommodation whilst using it, this must be reported to the supplier/principal immediately. If you fail to follow this procedure there will be less opportunity for the supplier/principal to investigate and rectify your complaint. The amount of compensation you may be entitled to may therefore be reduced or extinguished as a result.


If you wish to complain when you return home, write to the supplier/principal. You will see their name and contact details in any confirmation documents we send you.


If you wish to complain about any service we have provided to you (i.e. our booking service) then please contact us directly.


If you still feel your complaint has not been resolved, you can also access the European Commission Online Dispute (ODR) Resolution platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.


Law and Jurisdiction

These Agency Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you can bring proceedings in your local court under Scottish or Northern Irish law, as applicable). 


Accommodation Ratings and Standards

All ratings are as provided by the relevant supplier/principal. These are intended to give a guide to the services and facilities you should expect from your accommodation. Standards and ratings may vary between countries, as well as between suppliers. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of any ratings given.


Documentation & Information

All descriptions and content on our website or otherwise issued by us is done so on behalf of the supplier/principal in question are intended to present a general idea of the services provided by the supplier/principal. Not all details of the relevant services can be included on our website. All services shown are subject to availability. If you require any further details, in respect of any accommodation or any other services please contact us.


Limitation of Liability

You assume all responsibility and risk for the use of this site and the Internet generally. In no event shall Check-in-London or its affiliates be liable for any direct, special, indirect, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever; including but not limited to loss of use, data, or profits, without regard to the form of any action, including but not limited to contract, negligence, or other tort actions, arising out of or in connection with the use, copying, or display of the content resulting from access to or use of this site, or the Internet generally, under contract, tort or any other cause of action or legal theory.


Although Check-in-London believes the contents of its listings to be accurate, complete, and current, Check-in-London makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of the content. It is your responsibility to verify any information before relying on it. The content of this site may include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. From time to time, changes are made to the content herein. Check-in-London may make changes in the products and/or the services described herein at any time.

This includes, but is not limited to, any implied warranty that the information it contains is accurate or up to date or is suitable for any particular purpose. Whilst we do our utmost to maintain accuracy and to check details wherever possible, Check-in-london.com cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions that may arise, or be responsible or liable for any negligence in relation to information on or accessible from this website. 

Check-in-london.com also reserves the right to change information published on the website at any time, including rates, descriptions and photographs without prior notice.

Check-in-london.com makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of any accommodation advertised on its web site. It cannot accept responsibility for any changes or closures to local amenities or attractions listed within the web site or literature.

These terms do not affect consumer statutory rights.

Check-in-london.com reserves the right to update any of its terms and conditions at any time, as may be required and as may be in line with the company's business. The onus is placed on all parties using the website to undertake adequate measures to ensure that they visit any such terms and conditions on a regular basis. By agreeing to use this site, it is implied that any such changes are accepted by any such third party, and that any such third party undertakes to comply with any such changes.


Documents posted by Check-in-London on a Site may contain other proprietary notices or describe products, services, processes or technologies owned by Check-in-London or third parties. Nothing contained herein shall be construed by implication, estoppels or otherwise as granting to the user a license under any copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property right of Check-in-London or any third party.


Information Provided by You

Any information provided by you to Check-in-London, which is not identifiably personal, including but not limited to feedback, data, questions, comments, suggestions, or the like, shall be deemed to be non confidential. Check-in-London shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to such information and shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute the information to others without limitation.


Additionally, Check-in-London shall be free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in such information for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to developing, manufacturing, and marketing products incorporating such information.


Consent to Monitoring and Disclosure

Check-in-London is under no obligation to monitor the information residing or transmitted to this site. However, anyone accessing this site agrees that Check-in-London may monitor the website to (1) comply with any necessary laws, regulations or governmental requests; (2) to, in its sole discretion, operate the website in a manner it deems proper or to protect against conduct it deems inappropriate.
