    Are there lifts in the building? It is not uncommon for serviced apartments situated in more tradtional buildings to not have access to a lift (due to the nature of the construction). If you are booking an apartment with no lift you should be comfortable climbing the stairs (with your luggage).

  • Airconditioning
    Airconditioning is also another feature that is not common to residential properties in the UK so many of the serviced apartments in residential blocks may not have this available.
    In most cases, a portable A/C or electric fans will be provided on a request basis.
    Heating is always provided via central or electric heaters but it is not common for there to be air-conditioning in properties in London and the UK.
